Two of the most prominent organizations in healthcare, HL7 and IHE, are working together to strengthen the mission of 100% interoperability across the globe. The dialogue that’s happening right now concerns the entire healthcare industry and it is wonderful to see such active participation from everyone present.

Wednesday, March 7, 12:30PM – 1:30PM PST: ONC and the Interoperability Policy

So far, multiple discussions this HIMSS have been had on interoperability. In this particular session, Steve Posnack, ONC’s Director of Standards and Technology, shares the hard work and efforts put in by the organization towards enhancing interoperability and advocating health IT standards. An interoperable healthcare world has been a longstanding dream and ONC’s grand plans to take the initiative further has the audience paying rapt attention.

How can interoperability be promoted across the value-based care stakeholders? Well, it is as easy as one-two-three!
