Frequently Asked Questions

Care as One is a message of hope and gratitude to the 7.5 billion caregivers across the globe who are helping communities.

While COVID-19 reminds us of the fragile world we live in, it also demonstrates that everyone is truly connected. It reminds us that our actions in this world have a ‘butterfly-effect’ like impact. It’s the incredible and inherent strength of humanity that has caused people from across the world to come together and care as one in their own ways.

We created Care as One to collectively marvel at the spirit and resilience of those who have joined in the fight during COVID-19.

We are celebrating humanity, hope and gratitude in an unprecedented time of angst. COVID-19 is an invisible enemy that the world is fighting and that has brought the world to a screeching halt. Throughout the madness there are helpers, and there is hope. We have seen people buying essentials for vulnerable groups, supporting each other through their windows and sharing words of encouragement. Hundreds of doctors and nurses have stepped out of retirement to join the frontlines while others have given up off days and holidays and are working without resting. Children are making masks, neighbors are shopping for seniors and checking in on the vulnerable.

Solidarity in these trying times has become a beacon of hope, and humanity has emerged as the ultimate healthcare system. Humanity is signaling a powerful message: that we can battle – if not defeat – COVID-19, as long as we care as one.

This initiative gives you a place to be a louder voice during this time and offer gratitude to the 7.5 billion caregivers across the globe who are helping communities care as one.

The collective gratitude of people around the globe towards healthcare workers is emotional and uplifting during this global crisis. We want to hear from you. We want to hear, see and read the moments that have inspired you throughout the past few months – we want to collect and amplify your powerful moments.

The videos, pictures, and stories that you submit will live forever online at careasone.org as a repository for the positivity that continued to shine brightly throughout the darkest parts of COVID-19.
