About the Webinar

Healthcare is at a crossroads where there is no going back to using age-old technologies. We’ve digitized data and changed the incentives for physicians and hospitals while consumers are expecting more from their healthcare experience. Healthcare organizations are struggling to follow their patients and their needs across various care settings. What they lack are unified patient records that they can leverage to understand their patient’s medical course and view their network in the most comprehensible manner possible. The combination of increasing patient expectations, the move to value-based care and evolving regulatory changes mean that healthcare is changing faster than ever. Yet, providers and payers are still struggling with leveraging data with the right technology. We’ll explore how cloud-based technology powered by AI and machine learning assists physicians to develop predictive models for individual patients and then implement patient-specific interventions.

Join industry leaders Jonathan Bush, Executive Chairman at Firefly Health and Glenn Steele Jr. MD, PhD, Vice Chair, Health Transformation Alliance, Former Geisinger Health System President and CEO, as they discuss the new age of healthcare powered by advanced technologies.

You will learn

  • What is the current state of managing widely distributed healthcare data across multiple facilities? Why do complex systems of disconnected data still exist?
  • What is a unified patient record and why is access to data across the continuum of care so important?
  • How does the “democratization” of data and information impact performance in value-based care programs?
  • How can advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) assist organizations in leveraging their data and creating the efficiencies necessary to drive value?
  • How are health systems changing the way they conduct their administrative, clinical, and financial operations?
