Dr. David Nace is a physician executive with over 20 years of senior management experience in large healthcare systems, payer health plans, leading healthcare providers, and health information technology organizations. With his strong collaborative and cross-functional leadership skills, he has demonstrated excellence in business development, client relationships, communication and presentation skills, executive presence, and an ability to mentor, lead, and educate. Dr. Nace’s areas of interest include clinical integration, accountable and value-based care, patient-centered medical home, population health, and the application of technology in healthcare innovation. He is passionate about new models of care delivery, collaboration across markets and industries, disruptive innovation, and patient centered care.

Dr. David Nash is the Founding Dean Emeritus of the Jefferson College of Population Health and one of the most renowned healthcare thought leaders in the United States. He has been named on Modern Healthcare’s list of the Most Powerful Persons in Healthcare. He’s also the Dr. Raymond C. and Doris N. Grandon Professor of Health Policy at Thomas Jefferson University. He’s the editor in chief of four major national journals, and he has authored and edited numerous peer-reviewed articles and books. He is also on the founding editorial board of TeleHealth and Medicine Today. Dr. Nash received his BA in economics from Vassar College, his MD from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, and his MBA in Health Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Michael J. Camacho is the CHI Texas Division Vice President of the Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) and has been in this position starting January 2019 . With more than 12 years of health care leadership experience with a strong focus at CHI to ensure the continued development and growth of the CIN with a renewed focus on improving quality, reducing costs, and enhancing the patient experience. The CHI Texas Health Network (CIN) includes 2,200 physicians, 19% of whom are primary care physicians. The Baylor College of Medicine and the Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Group are members of the CIN, but also includes 900 otherwise independent physicians. Between the CIN (Commercial insured) and ACO (Medicare) populations, the organization has approximately 83,000 covered lives in value-based arrangements, with the goal of increasing this to 200,000 by 2023. Michael previously worked at Premier Management Company where he served as the Chief Operating Officer. He led the Premier ACO to be the 5th nationally ranked Medicare Accountable Care Organizations (ACO) in 2016 that served more than 15, 000 beneficiaries with over 200 primary care physicians. Throughout his tenure at Premier the ACOs created savings totaling over $80M in 4 years. He led the organization’s efforts in developing best practice and evidence-based protocols around chronic care, end-of-life care, urgent care, and transitional care programs. Before joining Premier, Michael was Chief Operating Officer for Covenant Health Partners, where he created alignment between a 350 member physician clinical integration program that produced over $9M in savings to the health system. By redesigning the physician committee structure, he maximized physician engagement, and supported physician performance by focusing on quality and utilization indicators. Michael had previously held numerous leadership positions at Covenant Health Partners. Currently at Common Spirit Heath and CHI St. Luke’s Texas under Michael’s leadership; The Baylor St. Luke’s Accountable Care Organization created $10.8M in shared savings with Medicare and the Clinically Integrated Network generating $3.6M in the CHI Self-funded employee health plan for 2019. Michael earned his Master of Public Administration in Healthcare from Texas Tech University and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at The University of Texas at Arlington.
