Rapid certification demonstrates Innovaccer’s commitment to operate in the UK and speed uptake of demand for its innovative healthcare solutions that support the Health and Care Act
London—Today, Innovaccer Ltd., the Health Cloud company, announced that it has achieved G-Cloud 13 framework agreement to accelerate direct procurement of cloud-native healthcare IT solutions with the NHS and public sector customers. The certification was attained soon after Innovaccer extended its business presence in the UK to support the implementation of the Health and Care Act 2022 and help drive value across the care continuum. Part of the government’s Digital Marketplace, the G-Cloud framework is designed to ensure the public sector has access to proven and cost-effective cloud hosting and software services through an online platform.
“This demonstrates that we are compliant, able to effectively support colleagues in health and care, and are 100% committed to this market,” says John Gurnett, general manager of the UK and Europe with Innovaccer. “This means we're best able to support the demand we’re seeing from colleagues in the NHS who are keen on bringing our solutions to bear, and to deliver into their integrated care systems. Most notably, what they've learned from us is that care coordination and management are significant capabilities that we provide to successful Accountable Care Organisations in the US—and our availability on the G-Cloud enables public sector colleagues to quickly bring that capability to the UK.”
UK healthcare organisations now have a direct, efficient, and speedy path to connect, work with, and conduct public sector procurement with Innovaccer. The Innovaccer Health Cloud, its “Best in KLAS” data and analytics platform, and its complete population health management suite of solutions have all been certified for the G-Cloud programme. This will help the NHS, its Integrated Care Systems (ICSs), and agencies focused on improving community health unify patient data across disparate systems; rapidly deploy scalable cloud applications that improve care coordination and management; help reduce waiting lists; boost clinical outcomes for patients; and enhance operational and financial outcomes.
To date, Innovaccer’s solutions have been implemented in more than 1,600 care settings. The company now works daily with unified patient records for more than 54 million people and helped over 96,000 caregivers work more collaboratively to save more than £800 million, and has delivered significant cost savings and improved outcomes at top healthcare providers, including a 7% reduction in readmissions, a 13% increase in referral success rate, and a 6.6% decrease in emergency department utilisation. These results demonstrate the impact and value of Innovaccer’s offerings.
“Achieving G-Cloud certification is a big lift and a major commitment for any organisation, and Innovaccer is no exception,” said Abhinav Shashank, cofounder and CEO of Innovaccer. “This is a significant step in our work to provide leading technology solutions that help the NHS achieve the goals laid out by the Health and Care Act. Innovaccer’s industry-leading capabilities in care coordination and population health will help the NHS realise its vision to enable people to live healthier, happier, and more independent lives through high-quality, seamlessly coordinated care. We’re thrilled to celebrate this milestone and look forward to partnering throughout the NHS and the wider public sector.”
