SAN FRANCISCO — September 25, 2026 — Innovaccer today announced that both of its co-founders, CEO Abhinav Shashank and President Sandeep Gupta, have been named to Becker's Healthcare's "Rising Stars: Healthcare Leaders Under 40" list for 2026.
The annual list, developed by Becker's Healthcare through nominations and editorial research, recognizes leaders 40 years old or younger who have risen quickly within their organizations and are shaping the future of healthcare delivery, technology, and operations.
Abhinav Shashank
Abhinav Shashank co-founded Innovaccer in 2014, and in 2016 he and his co-founders made the decision to pivot the company entirely to healthcare, focusing on unifying patient data that had been fragmented across disconnected systems. As CEO, he sets the strategic direction and product vision for a platform now deployed in more than 1,600 hospitals and clinics, serving 96,000-plus clinicians, unifying more than 100 million patient records, and generating over $2.5 billion in cumulative cost savings for customers. Sandeep Gupta
Sandeep Gupta co-founded Innovaccer in 2014 and has served as the operational architect behind its growth from a startup into a platform now running in more than 1,600 hospitals and clinics, serving 96,000-plus clinicians nationwide. As President, he built Innovaccer's enterprise presence and go-to-market engine from the ground up, establishing the foundational client relationships that today span more than 140 healthcare organizations. He oversees the operational performance of a platform that integrates with more than 200 EHRs, has unified data for more than 100 million lives, and has enabled more than $2.5 billion in documented healthcare savings for customers, including a Pacific Northwest health system that, under his operational stewardship, reduced avoidable emergency department visits for urinary tract infections by 12%, cut skilled nursing facility utilization by 17%, and saved Medicare more than $120 million while maintaining a 95% quality score.
